How appealing a revolution: Iran vs. Egypt
Anyone paying attention will no doubt have noticed that the people of Egypt, having seen the beginnings of a successful revolution in Tunisia, are busy attempting to depose their local dictator.
And yet, for the most part, it hasn’t been as discussed, promoted, or passionately identified with as the “Green Revolution” in Iran.

Universal Human Things
I think there are very few “universal truths”, but I do feel comfortable making this pronouncement.
By nature, Homo sapiens sapiens:
Will eat high fat and high sugar foods whenever possible.
Need sexual satisfaction on a regular basis (from an age we might not be comfortable with, as a culture).
Will do as little as possible (provided boredom is avoided), given the opportunity.

An addendum:
That book review/critique of life in the always-connected-internet-age does miss a few, significant things, even as it is very good at diagnosing a certain response to constant connection.
Primary among them is that you can indeed let the internet dominate you, let it steamroll your brain, let Facebook be your friend.
Or you could use the internet as a tool, as a challenge, as something that...
